The main reason I chose this hotel is that on both Booked.net and on their own website, they advertide as having dining facilities. When I arrived I was told that they had closed their restaurant and denied that they advertised same on their website, blaming Booked.net as the source of the information. I pointed out to both their head office customer care department and to local hotel management and they both denied that their own website was misleading. The only upside to this was the rebate I received on my last two days accomodation.
Convenient location near downtown and several restaurants. Wi-Fi throughout including breakfast area. Quiet at night even though right on main street.
The bed WAS like a cloud. It was quiet no disturbance at all, wich i enjoyed very much. Also enjoyed your jacuzzi.
Although breakfast was good, if i remember correctly breakfast time is from 5 to 10am. We went to get breakfast at about 845 and just about everything was already being put up. This was on a Sunday morning. Are the hours different??
breakfast was not complete. no saussege. hot tub watter was not working really good. only warm no hot.
The staff and breakfast were wonderful. We loved that they made us feel at home.
The hotel had a light sewage type smell in the hallway. Not strong, so I suspect the problem was addressed and carpets cleaned, but maybe carpets need replaced or something. Not sure.
Availability of rooms on short notice
The toilet didn't work and the bathroom needs a remodel. Front desk staff not very professional looking or acting.
1st room had a broken window. And sink and toilet wouldn't drain. 2nd room tub didn't drain well.
It was clean, quiet, and convenient to places to eat. The staff was nice.
Size of the room; the a/c which did not blow straight onto the head end of the bed and was relatively quiet. Staff were kind and efficient; but my attempts to re-use the towels took some perseverance to have effect, in spite of the notice in the bathroom. Tea & coffee making facilities and fridge were good; a little microwave might have even made it better.
No way to make an international phone call from the room's telephone. By eight days into my 11 days stay the rather artificial looking scrambled eggs weren't so attractive. Because of restricted kitchen facilities disposable plates etc. were used, which I had not associated with a Best Western hotel; it disturbed me that there were no facilities to recycle. But that appeared to be general in Roswell. No way of opening a window, not even a small one at the top. The stuffy smell, when entering the room; luckily it disappeared after a few days. The anti-slip mat applied in the bath, though effective, appeared to me as a "make shift" cover up of a worn bath floor.
Breakfast was adequate.
We had reservations booked through Booked.net- confirmed for 9/18- 9/21. When we showed up we were told that the dates were for Aug. Even though we had an email from booking stating the September dates. The desk person did not want to give us a room. After a lengthy conversation and a call to the mngr. She finally put us in a suite, but told us it would cost more. I was not going to pay more for a room and a contract that stated one thing because they screwed up. In the end, the did not charge us. A/c never got below 75 degrees even though we had it on 67. They locked us out of our room after first night and we had to see mngr again.
The lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good.
The hot tub was not hot and pool was freezing.
Lovely room, very nice staff very very clean,
Everything. Our complaints were circumstantial. Also, the location is across the street from a delicious Mexican restaurant.
World's loudest ice maker located outside of our room -- I can't believe I'm actually complaining about this but it was that ridiculous. Do not stay in the room located by the ice machine on the corner of the ground-level floor. Also, put all guests with pets in a centralized area -- not sporadically. We were kept awake by a barking dog all night.
Breakfast was Great. Staff was very friendly and I am sure the pool was good we didnt get to try it out due to a softball tournament schedule.
Wierd Smell in our room and no water pressure in the Shower.
Handy room with quick access to our vehicle.
